This notice explains how personal data submitted through myfreehold.com is handled.
Who we are
myfreehold is a joint enterprise between Blakes Surveyors Ltd (company no. 9184264, regulated by RICS, firm no. 752265) and Arcadia Law Ltd (company no. 10043933, authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, SRA no. 629605). Both companies are registered in England and Wales at 15 Approach Road, Raynes Park, London SW20 8BA. Each company is a separate data controller in respect of the personal data it holds.
What we collect
Where you complete an enquiry form on this site we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the address of the property your enquiry concerns, and any information you choose to provide about your matter. Our host and analytics provider may also record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can act for you, and where you instruct us, to provide the valuation or legal services requested. Our lawful basis is your consent in making the enquiry and, once instructed, the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interests in operating the firms.
Who we share it with
Enquiries submitted through this site are received by both Blakes Surveyors Ltd and Arcadia Law Ltd so that the enquiry can be directed to whichever is best placed to assist. We use Brevo to deliver email from this site and our hosting provider stores the site and its data. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an instruction are retained for up to two years. Where you instruct us, records are kept for the periods required by our regulators and our professional indemnity insurers, which is generally at least six years from the conclusion of the matter.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact the relevant firm using the details below.
